DMAIC a Lean Six Sigma Tool

Many people ask what is DMAIC in Lean Six Sigma? In this article I will explain the basics of this useful Lean Six Sigma tool.

What is DMAIC in Lean Six Sigma?

DMAIC stands for Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control. It is a logical approach used in Lean Six Sigma project to solve problems and an ideal way to structure a process improvement project.

Definition of DMAIC

Define the problem and get approval to continue the project.

Measure the process so that you have a baseline of the current state.

Analyse the process along with the data collected and identify possible root causes.

Improve the process by developing and testing solutions in a controlled environment.

Control the roll-out of the best solution, ensure it is embedded in the organisations processes and close the project.

2019 collection

Let’s face it, no look is really complete without the right finishes. Not to the best of standards, anyway (just tellin’ it like it is, babe). Upgrading your shoe game. Platforms, stilettos, wedges, mules, boots—stretch those legs next time you head out, then rock sliders, sneakers, and flats when it’s time to chill.
